Jung Ji Hoon: Rain's Journey From Korea to Hollywood
Jung Ji-hoon, better known by his stage name Rain, is a popular South Korean singer, songwriter, music producer, and actor. He is famous not only in Asia but also in Hollywood. He started his music career in 1998 at the age of 16 with the boy band "Fanclub". Four years later, he started his solo music career in 2002 and made his acting debut in the Korean drama "Sang Do! Let's Go to School" in 2003.
Rain gained fame when he starred in the hit drama series "Full House" in 2004, for which he won Best Actor at the 2004 KBS Drama Awards. His success was not limited to Korea, but also extended to the United States in 2006 with several successful shows at Madison Square Garden and Las Vegas.

Amidst Jung Ji Hoon's thriving artistic career and gaining widespread fame, he also fell in love. The artist keeps his personal life relatively private, rarely sharing photos of his wife, actress Kim Tae Hee, or their 6-year-old and 4-year-old daughters.
Rain and Tae Hee began their relationship in 2013. During an episode of his variety web show “Season B Season” in 2020, he shared how “it took a whole year” for his wife to fall in love with him.
"I asked her out first, and it took a long time for her to say yes. It took a whole year," he said, according to Soompi.
Rain and Tae Hee married on January 19, 2017, holding a small wedding ceremony in a Catholic church, according to Soompi. They welcomed their first child, a girl, in October of the same year.
The duo are also parents to a second daughter, born in September 2019. They are yet to announce the names of their daughters.
